Fa Seefaa
is an 18 year old grey mare, registered with the
Arabian Horse Association. She is 14.2hh and weighs
about 1000 pounds. Seefaa has been owned by her
donor since she was five years old, and is up to
date on shots and worming. She has never worn shoes
but is good with the farrier and vet. She was
trained in basic dressage from 1994 to 1995, has
natural elevation, and is fluid in transitions and
lateral work. She currently has been ridden western
with a training (running) martingale. Her donor
would like to see her used for low level dressage or
trail riding, but no jumping as she has never been
jumped and the donor is afraid it would cause
unnecessary strain on her stifles.
Recommended
level of experience of handler is beginner, and
recommended level of rider is novice with a secure,
centered seat, and very light hands. Donor suggests
a lightweight individual due to Seefaa’s size and
age. Seefaa likes people, respects her handler’s
space, lunges, cross ties, is low in the pecking
order and good with other horses. She is quiet in
her stall, well mannered, and leads quietly, clips
and is easy to catch in an open field. Due to her
age, she is in need of supportive joint care and
currently gets MSM cookies.
Best
traits: Anyone can ride her, prefers trails, very
forward and brave
Worst
traits: Pulls back when tied to new things, scared
of soap bubbles/water
